Ingredients (8)

72.00 clams — or mussels, cleaned
750.00 ml wine — white
45.00 ml butter
500.00 ml cream
salt and freshly ground black pepper
garnish — garnish
30.00 ml garlic — cloves, sliced and fried
15.00 ml lemon — peel

Method:

Place clams and wine in a large stockpot. Simmer for 10 minutes or until clams have opened.
Add butter and cream, season and simmer for 15 minutes.
Ladle into large bowls and garnish with garlic and lemon peel. Serve with crusty bread.
