This recipe is perfect for maximum output with minimum effort, and your kids will love it. Make a nice big dish for an evening meal and then use the leftovers during the week for a tasty lunchbox.

Mac it up!
Bring a litre of water to the boil, add salt and macaroni and cook, until al dente. Drain and return to the pot. While pasta is still hot, stir in cottage cheese, ricotta, Parmesan, milk, mustard and herbs. Season and spoon mixture into an oven-to-table dish and top with sliced tomato. Bake in a preheated 180 C oven for 10-15 minutes. And grill to brown if necessary.

Treats
Either pack in some fruit or make this Rice Krispies cup-of-everything cookies, that will only takes 25 minutes to make.
