Ingredients

  • 2
    kg
    white sugar
  • 3
    Litres
    water
  • 750
    ml
    lime juice concentrate
  • 30
    ml
    lemon essence
  • 15
    ml
    tartaric acid
  • 45
    ml
    epsom salts
 

Method

+/- 15 min
 
Heat the sugar and water, stirring continuously to ensure that the sugar dissolves before the water comes to the boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Stir in the remaining ingredients and cool completely. Bottle in clean bottles. Makes about 4,5 litres.
