These small bite size fritters are a perfect meal to eat while watching your favourite TV show.

Ingredients (8)

60 g flour — cake wheat
2 ml Baking powder
salt — to taste
3 ml cayenne pepper
1 eggs
1 canned whole-kernel sweetcorn — drained
30 ml milk
2 spring onions — finely chopped

Method:

In a medium bowl, sift flour, baking powder, salt and cayenne pepper together.

Add egg and mix well.

Add corn and milk if necessary, to make a batter consistency.

Heat oil and drop dessert spoonfuls of batter into oil.

Turn when golden brown and cook second side.

Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with a sauce.
