Broccoli and chicken pasta bake

Ingredients (11)

15 ml butter
250 g mushrooms — sliced
500 g broccoli — broken into florets
250 ml yoghurt — plain
125 ml mayonnaise
10 ml curry powder
lemon — zested
salt and freshly ground black pepper
500 g pasta bow ties — cooked until just done but still firm
500 ml chicken — cooked and shedded
250 ml cheddar cheese — grated

Method:

Preheat the oven to 190°C.

Grease an ovenproof dish with nonstick spray.

1 Heat the butter in a pan and stir-fry the mushrooms until done.

Set aside.

2 Put the broccoli in a microwaveable bowl,add 15ml (1T) water,cover the bowl and microwave for 3 minutes.

Carefully remove the bowl and drain.

3 Sauce Mix all the ingredients well.

4 Pasta Mix the pasta,chicken, broccoli, mushrooms and sauce and transfer to the oven proofdish.

Sprinkle the cheese over and bake for 30 minutes or until the pasta is heated through and the cheese has melted.
