    sugar

    extra-large egg

    cake flour

    baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • Syrup
  • 30
    ml
    butter or margarine
  • 125
    ml
    honey
 

Method

30 minutes
 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC and spray an ovenproof dish with non-stick spray.
Put the pumpkin in the dish and sprinkle with cinnamon and water.
Dot with butter and bake for about an hour until soft.
Melt the butter and stir in the sugar until the sugar is slightly dissolved.
Beat the egg and milk into this mixture.
Sift the dry ingredients together and add to the butter mixture.
Mix through and pour over the cooked pumpkin in the dish.
Bake for about 30 minutes.
Heat the ingredients for the syrup together and allow to simmer for two minutes. Pour over.
Serve hot. Delicious with leg of lamb and vegetables
