Lekker pudding

  • 1
    cup
    flour
  • 1
    cup
    milk
  • 1
    tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2
    cup
    sugar
  • 1
    Tbs
    vinegar
  • 1
    egg
  • pinch of salt
  • 1
    tsp
    bicarbonate of soda
  • 1
    Tbs
    apricot jam
  • Sauce:
  • 1
    cup
    sugar
  • 250
    g
    butter
  • 5
    ml
    vanilla essence
  • 1/2
    cup
    boiling water
 

Method

40 mins
 
Combine the ingredients for the pudding. Mix well.
Bake for 35 minutes at 180'C.
Note: You can use another jam if you don’t have apricot.
Add all the sauce ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.
Pour over the hot pudding.
Place the pudding back in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes.
