Ingredients (15)

MARINADE
50.00 ml jam — peach or apricot
75.00 ml curry powder — mild
75.00 ml sugar
125.00 ml flour — cake
2.00 ml turmeric
5.00 ml Worcestershire sauce
2.00 ml ginger — ground
2.00 ml cinnamon — ground
1.00 green pepper — deseeded and chopped
4.00 onions — coarsely chopped
125.00 ml milk
125.00 ml vinegar — grape
385.00 g apples — pie
1.00 kg mutton — leg, cubed
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method:

Using a non-metallic dish, blend all the marinade ingredients together and mix with the meat cubes. Marinate for about two days and thread the meat onto skewers. Season with salt and pepper and fry over the coals until done.
