    leg of lamb, cut into large cubes
  • 4
    large onions, chopped
  • sunflower oil for frying
  • 35

    curry powder
  • 3
    cloves garlic, chopped
  • 820
    g
    tomato and onion mix
  • 4
    apples, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 250
    g
    dried apricots, chopped
  • 125
    g
    dried peaches, chopped
  • 100
    ml
    hot chutney
 

Method

 
1. Fry the onions until tender, put to one side. Brown the lamb in the same pan. When well browned, put meat, onions and remaining ingredients into a large ovenproof dish with a lid. 2. Cook in a preheated oven at 190 ºC for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
