Kiddies tuna pasta

A great way to get your children to eat nutritious food, this recipe is also freezer friendly.

Ingredients (8)

2 Tbs fresh chillies — 573
1 can tuna
80 g pasta — elbow macaroni
1/2 red onion — sliced
2 carrots — medium, diced
250 g pumpkin — diced
fresh thyme
400 ml water

Method:

Braise sliced onions and thyme in olive oil.
Add diced carrots and pumkin and braise for 5 minutes.
Add elbow macaroni and cover with water.
Cook until veggies and macaroni are tender and water has been reduced.
Add 1 can of drained tuna and stir.
Blend to required consistency depending on baby’s age and taste.
Pop in ice cube trays and freeze.
