Kassler stir-fry

Ingredients

  • 400
    g
    Kassler chops, deboned and diced
  • oil
  • 1
    red pepper, diced
  • 1
    fresh pineapple, peeled and diced
  • 8
    prunes, stoned
  • 250
    ml
    cream
  • 1
    lemon, juice
  • 25
    ml
    Grand Marnier liqueur
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • toasted almond flakes
 

Method

Fry the diced meat in a little oil until slightly brown, add the sweet pepper and stir-fry until soft. Add the diced pineapple and stir-fry until pale brown. Add the prunes and pour over the cream. Reduce the heat and simmer until the cream is reduced by a about a third. Add the lemon juice and liqueur and bring the sauce to the boil, stirring continuously. Season with salt and pepper if necessary. Serves with noodles and a salad. Serves 3-4.
