    sugar

    butter
  • 480

    cake flour
  • 15
    ml
    oil
  • 5
    ml
    baking powder
  • 2
    ml
    rosewater
  • 5
    ml
    ground cardamom
 

Method

 
Beat eggs and sugar together well and set aside. Rub butter into flour and then mix in remaining ingredients (including the egg and sugar mixture) lightly to form a soft dough. Roll out to 1 cm thickness. Using cookie cutters, cut into shapes and bake at 180 ºC, first on the bottom shelf for 6 minutes and then on the top shelf for a further 6 minutes. Enjoy while cool. Makes about 60.
