    fruit such as strawberries or mandarin segments
  • g
    jelly, red with strawberries or yellow with mandarin segments
  • 410
    g
    Nestlé Ideal Evaporated Milk, chilled
 

Method

 
Drain the fruit, reserving the syrup. Add enough boiling water to the syrup to make up 250 ml liquid (1 c). Dissolve the jelly in the hot liquid and chill, but do not allow to set. Beat the evaporated milk until foaming and fold into the chilled jelly mixture. Chill until nearly set, stir in the fruit and chill until set. Serves 4-6.
