Ingredients (13)

200.00 g rice
50.00 g butter
2.00 onion — chopped
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
2.00 fresh chillies — chopped
1.00 pepper — green and red, sliced
410.00 g tomatoes — chopped
15.00 ml cayenne pepper
1.00 ml cloves — ground
200.00 g ham — cubed
250.00 g prawns — deveined, shelled
45.00 ml fresh parsley — chopped
40.00 ml lemon juice

Method:

Cook the rice according to pack instructions.
Heat the butter in a large saucepan and sauté the onion, garlic, chillies and peppers for five minutes. Add the tomatoes, spices and seasoning, to taste. Simmer for five minutes.
Drain the rice and stir into the tomato sauce, along with the ham and prawns.
Cook for five minutes, stir in parsley and lemon juice and serve.
