Jalapeno steak strips

Ingredients

    olive oil
  • 2
    carrots, sliced
  • 1
    cup
    chopped broccoli
  • 2
    jalapeno peppers, sliced
  • 2
    cayenne peppers, sliced
  • 340

    lean fillet steak, sliced thin
  • 1/4
    cup
    sweet and sour stir-fry sauce
 

Method

Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over high heat. Toss in the carrots and broccoli and cook until tender.
Add the peppers and beef and continue cooking until meat is done.
Add sauce and serve.
Make it a meal
Bake four small sweet potatoes in their skins until soft, slice open and add a dash of cinnamon (one small sweet potato per serving). Serve steak with sweet potato and blanched asparagus spears topped with a squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for a flavoursome feast under 1 700kJ.
