Ingredients

  • 6
    teabags, preferably flavoured or English breakfast tea
  • 1.50
    Litres
    boiling water
  • 75
    ml
    sugar
  • 3
    limes, sliced
  • 4
    sprig
    fresh mint
  • 80
    ice cubes
 

Method

Leave the teabags to steep in the boiling water until the tea is strong and fragrant. Stir in the sugar and add the lime slices and mint. Leave to cool. Strain the tea through a sieve. Place the ice cubes in a food processor, add the tea and blend until the ice is finely crushed. Pour into glasses and garnish with mint and lime slices.
