Ingredients (9)

410.00 g apricots — halved
410.00 g pears — halved
125.00 ml dates — pitted
125.00 ml prunes — pitted
125.00 ml figs — dried
30.00 ml caramel brown sugar
5.00 ml orange — zest only
65.00 ml orange juice
10.00 ml mixed spice — ground

Method:

Drain apricot and pear syrup into a saucepan. Set fruit aside.
Heat syrup and add dates, prunes, figs and caramel sugar. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in orange rind and juice.
Cut pears into quarters and add with apricots.
Bring to boil, then pour into a serving bowl.
Serve warm with ice cream or custard.
