Hot blue cheese scones

Ingredients

  • instant scone mix
  • 12
    spring onions, sliced
  • 150
    g
    Blue cheese (or feta), crumbled
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
 

Method

25 minutes
 
Make the scone dough according to pack instructions and press out to 2,5 cm thickness. Cut out rounds with a small scone cutter. Place rounds close up against each other in a greased baking tray. Sprinkle spring onions and blue cheese (or feta) over the scones. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Bake in preheated 220 ºC oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Break apart and serve as a hot snack.
