Honey sauce

  • 50
    ml
    van der Hum liqueur
  • 50
    ml
    honey
  • 50
    ml
    chopped glacé cherries
  • 25
    ml
    toasted sunflower seeds
  • 250
    ml
    water
  • 15
    ml
    cornflour
  • 10
    ml
    grated orange rind
  • 15
    ml
    brandy
 

Method

 
Place all the ingredients except the brandy into a saucepan and heat until the sauce just comes to the boil and thickens slightly. Stir continuously. Remove from the heat and stir in the brandy. Makes about 400 ml.
