6.00 pears
1.00 lime — or lemon, zest and juice
30.00 ml honey
200.00 g crème fraîche — low fat, fromage frais, low fat cream cheese
15.00 ml castor sugar
0.00 cinnamon — ground
0.00 fresh mint — or lime juice

Method:

Halve the pears lengthwise and core them.
Sprinkle with lime or lemon juice to prevent discolouration.
Heat a griddle pan until very hot and cook the pears cut side facing down (drizzle a little of the honey over the pears while cooking) for one minute.
Transfer to a heated serving bowl.
Make a topping by mixing the crême fraîche or cheese, castor sugar and finely grated lime or lemon rind.
Serve the hot pears with a dusting of cinnamon, garnished with mint or lime and the topping on the side.
