Method:

Preheat oven to 200°C.

For the burger patties – In a large mixing bowl mix all the ingredients together. With your hands, form a ball that is about the size of your palm, flatten and round the edges, place on a surface covered with glad wrap until ready to fry (this will prevent sticking to the surface/plate).

For the burgers – In a pan with olive oil, over a medium heat, fry your burger patties on each side until cooked (about 10 minutes on each side).

For the crushed potatoes – Place the potatoes in an oven in the preheated oven, drizzle over olive oil and sprinkle with some salt. Let this bake for about 15 minutes. When ready just crush slightly with the back of a fork. When baking the the potatoes, just before they are ready place the
burger patties in an oven dish with the cheese on top to let the cheese
melt.

For stacking the burger, place bottom part of the toasted bun on a plate
then start stacking the lettuce, tomato, avo, burger patties and end
off with the onions. Add a few drops of Tabasco.
