Ingredients (18)

beef mince
onions — chopped
2 garlic — cloves, chopped
coriander — ground
3 parsley — finely chopped
1 tsp dried basil
meat spice
salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 bread — sliced, crusts removed, soaked in milk
1 eggs
barbecue sauce
cheese — cubes
TO SERVE:
bread — rolls
lettuce
tomatoes
gherkins
instant cheese sauce — Spur Cheddamelt
cheese — sliced

Method:

Mix together all of the burger ingredients.
Shape into little balls.
Add little blocks of cheese in the middle of the ball (optional).
Place in the fridge to ‘set’.
In the meantime prepare a 1/2 packet spare rib marinade or smoky BBQ flavor.
You can use this to baste the patties while frying or grilling in the oven (optional).
First brown the patties in a frying pan, then move them to the oven to cook through at 180° for 20 minutes.
Serve on fresh buns, with lettuce, tomato, gherkins and the store bought Spur Cheddamelt Sauce, with a slice of cheese.
