    wholewheat flour

    cake flour
  • 5

    salt
  • 5
    ml
    mustard powder
  • 10

    baking powder
  • 5
    ml
    mixed dried herbs or 15 ml (1 T) fresh herbs
  • 20
    ml
    sugar
  • 130
    g
    softened butter
  • 100
    ml
    Nestlé Ideal Evaporated Milk or ordinary milk

Preheat the oven to 200ºC (400ºF). Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray. Sift together the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Rub in the butter with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Pour over the milk and mix lightly. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough and cut out tree shapes. Sprinkle with the herbs and bake for 10 minutes or until done. Cool and store in airtight containers in the fridge until needed. Makes about 24 trees.
