Herb butter on t-bone steak

Ingredients

  • 125
    g
    butter
  • 10
    ml
    chopped garlic
  • 15
    ml
    mustard powder
  • 15
    ml
    snipped chives
  • 15
    ml
    chopped fresh parsley
  • 15
    ml
    lemon juice
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
 

Method

Time fo setting
 
Heat 15ml of the butter and sauté the garlic till soft. Cool slightly and mix with the remaining ingredients, including the rest of the butter. Spoon the butter mixture onto a sheet of clingfilm and shape it into a long roll 4-5cm in diameter. Wrap it in the clingfilm and chill until hard and ice cold. Cut the butter into slices and put a slice on top of each braaied steak.
