Ingredients (6)

250.00 g flour — self-raising
10.00 ml Baking powder
250.00 g butter — cut into pieces
250.00 g castor sugar
4.00 eggs — large, beaten
74.00 g malt-centred chocolate — Maltesers

Method:

Preheat oven to 160 ºC. Line a 26 cm square tin with baking paper.
Put all the ingredients, except Maltesers, into a bowl and beat until smooth. Pour mixture into tin and push the Maltesers into the mixture so that they are covered.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until cake is firm to the touch. Cool cake in the tin for 5 minutes before removing it. Cool completely, dust lightly with icing sugar and cut into squares. Makes 16 squares.
