Ingredients (12)

hamburger patties
750.00 g beef mince — lean
1.00 onion — finely chopped
2.00 bread — white, slices
100.00 ml milk
50.00 ml flour — cake
3.00 ml nutmeg — ground
5.00 ml coriander — ground
50.00 ml chutney
1.00 ml cloves — ground
15.00 ml mustard — prepared
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method:

Lightly mix all the ingredients for the hamburger patties together. Shape into flat patties and brush with oil on both sides. Grill in a heated cast-iron pan until brown on the outside and just done but still juicy on the inside.
Serve with a sauce of your choice.
Makes about 8 large or 16 small hamburger patties.
