Homemade burgers that are healthier and a lot more substantial then take-aways.

Ingredients (6)

500 g beef mince — lean
1 1/2 onion — finely diced
fresh thyme — handful
1 tsp dried chilli flakes
herbal salt and pepper
oil — for frying

Method:

Heat oven to 180°C.
Fry onions until golden.
Add onions to mince along with thyme, chilli, herbal salt and pepper.
Squish between your fingers to mix well.
Shape mince into patties.
Cook in the oven for about 5 minutes on each side.
Turn the grill on and grill for about 5 minutes on each side until charred.

Serve on a gluten free roll or bread with rocket, avo, tomato and a
drizzle of basil oil and homemade chips with lots of salt and a squeeze
of lemon juice.
