Ingredients (11)

2.00 potatoes — boiled
500.00 g beef mince
100.00 ml oats
1.00 onion — grated
15.00 ml chutney
5.00 ml soy sauce
25.00 ml fresh parsley — chopped
1.00 eggs
salt
freshly ground black pepper
flour — cake

Method:

Mash the potatoes and add the mince. Mix well.
Add the remaining ingredients, except the salt, pepper and cake flour. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Shape into flat hamburger patties and roll in cake flour.
Freeze until needed or cook as follows:
Fry in heated oil until done, or preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF), arrange the patties on lightly greased baking sheets and bake for 20 minutes or until pale brown.
Turn the patties over and bake for another 20 minutes or until pale brown.
