    large potatoes, boiled until soft
  • 500
    g
    mince
  • 100
    ml
    oats
  • 1
    onion, grated
  • 15
    ml
    chutney
  • 5
    ml
    soy sauce
  • 25
    ml
    chopped parsley
  • 1
    egg
  • salt
  • pepper
  • cake flour
 

Method

 
Mash the potatoes and add the mince. Mix well. Add the remaining ingredients, except the salt, pepper and cake flour. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Shape into flat hamburger patties and roll in cake flour. Freeze until needed or cook as follows: Fry in heated oil until done, or preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF), arrange the patties on lightly greased baking sheets and bake for 20 minutes or until pale brown. Turn the patties over and bake for another 20 minutes or until pale brown.
