Ham and apple tart

    ham
  • 3
    green apples, cored, peeled and sliced
  • 80
    ml
    cake flour
  • 125
    ml
    brown sugar
  • 30
    ml
    melted butter
  • 6
    slices Cheddar cheese
  • 250
    ml
    sour cream
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Arrange the ham slices which have been cut into 2 cm thick strips, in a fairly deep 24 cm ovenproof dish. Arrange the apple slices on top. Mix the cake flour, brown sugar and butter together and sprinkle over the apple slices. Arrange the cheese slices on top and pour over the cream. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the apple slices are tender. Serve with seed mustard or prepared mustard. Serves 4.
