Ingredients (14)

800.00 g hake — frozen, skinned
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
100.00 ml cornflour
fresh chillies — 573
garlic — cloves, crushed
3.00 cm fresh ginger — grated
6.00 fresh chives — chopped
1.00 yellow pepper — green and red pepper, strips
15.00 ml lemon juice
15.00 ml soy sauce
15.00 ml sherry
6.00 chinese cabbage — shredded
125.00 ml mixed bean sprouts
30.00 ml sesame seeds

Method:

Cut the hake into strips while still frozen and season with salt and pepper. Roll in the cornflour and fry in the heated olive oil until brown on the outside and cooked inside. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Sauté the garlic, ginger, chives and peppers in a little olive oil until tender. Add the lemon juice, soy sauce and sherry and simmer for a few minutes. Add the cabbage, bean sprouts and sesame seeds and stir until heated through. Add the fish, mix and serve with noodles.
Serves 4.
