    ripe avocado pears, halved and scooped into a bowl

    lime or lemon juice

    small onion, finely chopped
  • 1
    clove garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 1
    ground cumin

    fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1
    tomato, finely chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 1
    chilli, seeded and finely chopped (optional)


10 minutes
Mash the avocado pears, leaving them slightly chunky.
Stir in the lime or lemon juice, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, tomato and salt to taste.
If you like it hot, add the chilli.
Cover and chill until ready to serve.
