Grilled spanspek with toasted coconut

  • 250
    ml
    ripe spanspek melons, cut into quarters
  • 125
    ml
    honey
  • 250
    ml
    dessicated coconut
  • 0
    vanilla ice cream, to serve
 

Method

 
Preheat grill. Place the spanspek quarters onto a baking tray, drizzle with honey and spoon coconut. Pop under the grill for five minutes. Eat warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
