  • fruit of your choice
  • brown sugar or icing sugar
  • almond flakes


Halve the fruit, remove the stones or core the fruit and arrange on a baking sheet, cut side facing up. Sprinkle generously with brown sugar or icing sugar and grill until caramelised. Or braai the fruit, cut side facing down. Sprinkle with almond flakes and serve with mascarpone cheese or semifreddo.
