Ingredients (4)

4.00 mealies — with husks
CHILLI BUTTER
100.00 g butter — softened
1.00 chilli — finely chopped
30.00 ml lemon juice

Method:

CHILLI BUTTER: Combine all ingredients well.
Carefully pull back husks from mealies and remove silks. Pull husks back over mealies.
Place on grid and braai, not too close to coals, turning frequently so they don’t burn. After 30 minutes, remove from fire and peel away husks.
Spread with chilli butter.
