Green spaghetti

    fresh basil
  • 2
    large cloves garlic, crushed
  • 80
    g
    pine nuts
  • 250
    ml
    olive oil
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 500
    g
    spaghetti, cooked until al dente (or pasta of your choice)
  • Parmesan cheese for sprinkling
 

Method

 
Remove hard stems from the basil leaves and process the leaves until smooth in a food processor. Add the garlic and pine nuts and process until smooth. Slowly add the olive oil while the food processor is still running. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve with spaghetti or pasta of your choice. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serves 4-6.
