    toasted sesame seeds

    chopped fresh coriander leaves

    ground cumin (jeera)

    ml
    cumin seeds (optional)
  • 7
    ml
    salt
  • 5
    ml
    turmeric
  • 60
    ml
    unsalted peanuts
  • 3
    cm
    piece fresh ginger, skinned
  • 2
    or more chillies, seeded
 

Method

 
Process all the ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Spoon into a dish and chill before serving. Delicious with curries and spicy meat dishes. Makes about 250 ml chutney.
