Ingredients (11)

45.00 ml brown sugar — soft
45.00 ml coconut
30.00 ml sesame seeds — toasted
15.00 ml fresh coriander — chopped
15.00 ml cumin — ground
10.00 ml cumin — seeds
7.00 ml salt
5.00 ml turmeric
60.00 ml peanuts — unsalted
3.00 cm fresh ginger — peeled
2.00 fresh chillies

Method:

Process all the ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Spoon into a dish and chill before serving.
Delicious with curries and spicy meat dishes.
Makes about 250 ml chutney.
