Glorious nut sundae

Ingredients

  • 400
    g
    readymade custard
  • 600
    ml
    thick cream, lightly whisked
  • 60
    ml
    liquid glucose (available at pharmacies and health shops)
  • 140
    g
    Toblerone, broken into pieces
  • SAUCE
  • 100
    g
    milk chocolate, melted
  • 125
    g
    marshmallows
 

Method

 
Fold together the custard and cream until evenly mixed. Drizzle in glucose and gently stir in Toblerone pieces. Pour into a plastic container and freeze until firm. To make sauce, melt chocolate and marshmallows together in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Do not stir. Remove ice cream from freezer 5-10 minutes before serving to allow it to soften. Spoon into serving dishes, then drizzle generously with warm sauce. Serve immediately. Serves 4.
