Gingered rice with stir-fried beef

Ingredients (7)

400.00 g short-grain rice
10.00 cm fresh ginger — cut into matchsticks
30.00 ml oil
500.00 g beef — fillet, thinly sliced
60.00 ml hoisin sauce — oyster or plum sauce
12.00 spring onions
2.00 nori sheets — halved

Method:

Prepare the rice according to packet instructions, adding half the ginger. Heat half the oil in a frying pan. Add the beef fillet and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add the sauce and keep warm.
Heat the remaining oil in a small pan and stir-fry the spring onions and remaining ginger until golden brown.
Spoon the rice on to sheets of nori. Top with beef and stir-fried spring onions.
