Gingered fried steak with noodles

    tenderised steak, cut into strips

    onion sliced
  • 4
    large carrots, sliced into strips
  • 4
    courgettes, sliced
  • 1
    cabbage, shredded
  • 150

    beef-flavoured instant noodles, cooked
 

Method

10 minutes
 
1. Mix sherry, honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and cornflour together and place in a shallow bowl. Add meat and mix well. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes. 2. Meanwhile heat 50 ml of the oil in a large frying pan or wok. Add onion and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add carrots and stir-fry for two minutes, then add courgettes and stir-fry for a further two minutes. Add cabbage and stir-fry for one minute. Add drained noodles and toss to combine well. Season to taste, then set aside and keep warm. 3. In a clean pan, heat remaining oil. Stir-fry meat over a high heat for about two minutes until just cooked. Season to taste. Divide noodles between four serving plates and top with stir-fried meat. Serve immediately.
