Ginger biscuits

Ingredients

  • 110
    g
    self raising flour
  • 1
    tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1
    tsp
    bicarbonate of soda
  • 40
    g
    sugar
  • 50
    g
    butter
  • 2
    Tbs
    syrup
 

Method

15 mins
 
Preheat your oven to 180° C.
Mix ingredients by hand or in a machine:
Sift the flour, ginger and bicarb & sugar into the bowl, rub in the butter until the mix looks like crumbs.
Then add the syrup and mix until it forms a stiff paste.
Divide into balls, place on a greased baking sheet and press down with a spoon to flatten them a bit.
They do spread so don't place them too close to each other, bake for 10/15 minutes until golden brown.
