500.00 g koekmeelblom
250.00 g flour
60.00 ml ginger — in syrup

Method:

Voorverhit oond tot 160 &degC.
Smeer 2 bakplate van die volgende mates: 1 bakplaat van 30 x 23 cm en ‘n kleiner bakplaat van 20 x 20 cm.
Room botter en strooisuiker tot lig en romerig.
meel en mielieblom saam.
verglansde gemmer by en voeg droë bestanddele by bottermengsel.
tot ‘n deeg vorm.
Verdeel deeg en druk in twee gesmeerde bakplate.
Prik deeg met ‘n vurk en merk in stafies of blokkies.
Bak vir sowat 1 uur tot ‘n ligte goudbruin kleur.
Sprinkel strooisuiker oor.
