Ingredients (5)

110.00 g butter — softened
salt and freshly ground black pepper
15.00 ml fresh parsley — chopped
3.00 garlic — large cloves, crushed
6.00 bread rolls — long, stale

Method:

Blend the butter, salt and pepper, parsley and garlic.
Cut the bread rolls into slices, being careful not to cut right through. Spread both sides of each slice generously with the butter mixture and wrap each roll individually in aluminium foil. Heat over the fire or in a hot oven till the butter has melted and the rolls are crispy. Serve with braaivleis.
Serves 6.
