Ingredients (12)

200.00 g rice — long grain
4.00 spring onions — sliced
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
5.00 ml turmeric
5.00 ml cumin
5.00 ml cardamom — pod, crushed
50.00 g apricots — dried, chopped
1.00 apples — red, cored, chopped
1.00 green apple — cored and chopped
40.00 g walnuts — chopped
30.00 ml fresh parsley — chopped
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste

Method:

Steam the rice, spring onions, garlic, spices and apricots for 15 minutes in a steamer.
Place the cooked rice in a large bowl and set aside to cool.
Add the remaining ingredients and serve.
