Fruity sparkling wine punch

    sugar

    ml
    water
  • 400
    ml
    orange juice
  • 400
    ml
    granadilla juice
  • 400
    ml
    pineapple juice
  • 150
    ml
    lemon juice
  • 500
    ml
    fresh fruit such as strawberries (any fruit in season may be used)
  • 1500
    ml
    sparkling wine
  • ice cubes
 

Method

 
Slowly heat the sugar and water until the sugar has melted. Simmer for 5 minutes and chill. Add the fruit juice and fruit and refrigerate until needed. Add the sparkling wine and ice cubes just before serving Serves 20 (makes about 4 litres).
