Fruit crumble

    canned fruit salad
  • 1
    lemon, the zest
  • 140
    g
    flour
  • 100
    g
    sugar
  • 3
    ml
    cinnamon
  • 80
    g
    butter, cubed
 

Method

25 minutes
 
Drain the fruit and reserve 50 ml of the juice.
Place fruit and reserved juice in a baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine the zest, flour, sugar, cinnamon and butter using your fingertips, until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Sprinkle over the fruit.
Bake in a preheated 190 °C oven for about 25 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
Serve warm with whipped cream or custard.
