Fried pears and ricotta waffles

Ingredients

    ml
    natural yoghurt
  • 200
    g
    ricotta cheese
  • 30
    ml
    icing sugar, sifted
  • 30
    ml
    butter
  • 30
    ml
    brown sugar
  • 2
    medium pears with stalks, thinly sliced
  • 4
    readymade waffles
 

Method

10 mins
 
Mix yoghurt, ricotta cheese and icing sugar in a bowl.
Refrigerate until required.
Heat butter and brown sugar in a frying pan and add pear slices.
Cook for 5 minutes on either side, or until pears are lightly browned and a syrup has formed.
Toast or grill waffles, then spoon cheese mixture over and place pears on top.
Serve immediately.
