Combine the honey, ginger, ground ginger, spring onions, chilli, garlic and lime juice.
Thread the steak, sliced ginger and bay leaves onto kebab sticks.
Marinate for 30 minutes or overnight, if you have the time. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan, and fry the kebabs until the beef is just cooked through.
Serve with Japanese soba noodles.
