Ingredients (9)

15.00 ml fresh chillies — 573
1.00 onion — peeled and chopped
4.00 garlic — cloves, chopped
850.00 g tomatoes — chopped
45.00 ml tomato paste
salt
black pepper — freshly ground
30.00 ml fresh Italian parsley — chopped
1.00 fresh chillies — chopped

Method:

Heat oil in a saucepan. Add onion and sauté for one minute. Add garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, seasoning, parsley and chilli and cook over moderate heat for 5 minutes. Add more chilli to taste, if desired. Transfer mixture to a warmed fondue pot and place over a burner. Pass around chunks of bread to dip in the tomato fondue.
Serves 4.
