Fish kebabs

    kg
    fresh fish, filleted
  • 2
    onions, sliced
  • 30
    ml
    lemon juice
  • MARINADE
  • 75
    ml
    olive oil
  • 3
    garlic cloves, crushed
  • 7
    ml
    cumin
  • 5
    ml
    paprika
  • 1
    ml
    chilli powder
  • 30
    ml
    chopped, fresh coriander
 

Method

 
Cube the fish and place in a dish along with the onions.
Sprinkle with the lemon juice.
Mix all the ingredients for the marinade and pour over the fish and onions.
Chill and marinate in the fridge for 2 hours.
Thread the fish cubes onto skewers, alternating with the onions.
Braai - basting frequently with the marinade - for 8 to 10 minutes or until the fish is just done.
Serve with chopped coriander leaves.
