Ingredients (9)

1.00 kg beef fillet
10.00 ml garlic — cloves, crushed
freshly ground black pepper
salt
fresh chillies — 573
fresh parsley — and peppercorns, to garnish
SAUCE
250.00 ml cream
5.00 ml nescafé instant coffee granules
5.00 ml peppercorns — while green

Method:

Rub fillet with garlic, black pepper and salt, then rub with olive oil.
Preheat oven to 200 ºC.
Place fillet in a baking tray and roast until browned, 15 minutes. Remove from oven.
Pour meat juices into a small saucepan and add cream, coffee granules and green peppercorns. Simmer until slightly thickened.
Cut fillet into large medallions and top with coffee sauce. Sprinkle with parsley and peppercorns and serve.
